Compumedics USA is currently searching for a Clinical Applications and Systems Specialist. We are looking for a licensed RPSGT or/and R.EEG Tech Full-Time availability to join our Service Team. The idea Clinical Applications and System Specialist candidate will have strong experience in customer clinical education and willing to travel within the US. Compumedics Limited (ASX: CMP) is a medical device company involved in the development, manufacture and commercialization of diagnostics technology for the sleep, brain and ultrasonic blood-flow monitoring applications. JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Applications and Systems Specialist to join our dynamic Service Team. As a Clinical Applications and Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for onsite clinical application training, virtual remote trainings, clinical education training documentation, and provide professional services with the Compumedics product line of Neurodiagnostic Devices and Software.  Position requires significant travel and ability to work independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Training and Field Services:

  • Ability to travel extensively to provide onsite training and installation for all Compumedics Clinical Products
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Provide Onsite/Virtual Webinar customer training on Compumedics Clinical Products and able to speak in small and medium groups effectively
  • Educational Training/Supporting on Compumedics Customer performing Routine EEG, LTM, ICU monitoring on patients of all ages
  • Training/Supporting Customers on hooking patients up with electrodes/monitoring equipment to record a PSG-EEG-EMU-LTM-ICU Monitoring Testing
  • Educational Training/Supporting Compumedics Customer performing HST, PSG, MSLT/MWT and PAP titrations on patients of all ages
  • Providing Clinical education training of Clinical PSG or EEG SaaS Solutions for Compumedics Ltd Clinical. Educational training includes documentation pertaining to the routine operation of the various Compumedics hardware components and software operations. These educational services may be delivered via telephone, internet and/or email to both internal and external customers. May include consultation outside of normal business hours to Global Compumedics offices and customer’s needs.
  • Provide Customer feedback requirements with Clinical PSG/EEG Hardware and SaaS Software features and strategy
  • Training/Configuring custom reports using MSWORD and Compumedics configurations
  • Providing in-depth support of products distributed by Compumedics performing remote session installations and problem-solving.  A self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision as well as contribute to a Service Team environment
  • Maintain current customer relationships and identifying areas of potential customers.

Global Call Centre:

  • Responsible for providing Post Installation/Training Support and Global Clinical- Technical Applications support to our rapidly growing customer base, delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies.
  • Escalation Team: Taking ownership to resolve more advanced clinical issues, in our Escalation Support Phone Team.
  • Must have a temperament suitable for direct interaction with the users under what can be demanding conditions.  This includes a friendly demeanor, considerable patience, a high toleration for frustration, and the flexibility to switch attention quickly from one task to another.
  • Clinical Applications and Systems Specialist will be on a Global Service Call Center Online IN-OUT Board for:
    • Escalation Team: Taking ownership to resolve more advanced technical issues, in our Escalation Support Phone Team.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:  up to 70%

  • Required to Travel National US

  • Required to have valid Passport
  • Required to have a dependable vehicle
  • Required to have a personal credit card for business expenses for 30 days of Expenses

EDUCATION AND REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required Registered Polysomnography Technologist Certification – RPSGT
  • Required Registry by the American Board of Registered Electro Neurodiagnostic Technologists (R.EEGT) in EEG
  • 2 Year College Diploma or 4 Year College Degree with Equivalent work experience in related area

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have Strong Leadership, Organization and Communication Skills

  • RPSGT: 4+ years of Clinical PSG Experience
    • Applicants should have proficiency in Clinical full range of polysomnography
  • R.EEGT: 4+ years of Clinical EEG Routine and Epilepsy Long Term Experience
    • Applicants should have proficiency in Clinical EEG, Epilepsy Monitoring (LTM)
  • 2+ Years Field Service Experience
  • 2+ Years Technical Phone Call Centre experience with troubleshooting and resolving Technical Issues.
  • Exceptional communications and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational Skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Applicants should have a well-rounded clinical background with an interest in teaching both modalities.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office products; Excel and PowerPoint and Word are required.
  • Advance decision-making and problem solving
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
